With the aim of innovating its communication methods, connecting with new audiences and promoting value-added information products, the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) announced the official launch of “Bites by SELA,” a digital newsletter that compiles and disseminates information on best practices, trends and success stories in the region.
The concept is simple: one topic, some key facts worth knowing and a fresh perspective on the region. From trade, logistics and digitalisation to small and medium-sized enterprises, infrastructure, integration and economic recovery, the Bites aim to transform complex topics into accessible information for a range of audiences.
“Bites by SELA” aims to report on what is happening in the region in a more direct, dynamic and accessible way, without compromising the rigour that characterises SELA. With this new format, the organisation seeks to broaden the conversation on the challenges and opportunities facing Latin America and the Caribbean and to produce content that can be quickly accessed, shared and used to gain a better understanding of the regional situation.

The publication will be released fortnightly and will be available via SELA’s social media channels and on its official website, www.sela.org. Its dynamic format will enable users to discover, in just a few minutes, the issues, trends and initiatives that are transforming the economic landscape of Latin America and the Caribbean, through accurate, relevant and easily accessible information. “Bites by SELA” provides governments, institutions, the private sector, academia and the general public with a highly valuable information tool to strengthen decision-making and promote the exchange of successful experiences that help address the region’s challenges and opportunities.
Because sometimes, to understand something big, all it takes is a small dose of information. Bites by SELA. One topic. A fresh perspective on Latin America and the Caribbean.
