Andean Community ratifies support and coordination with SELA for regional integration

The Secretary-General of the Andean Community (CAN), Jorge Pedraza, ratified his support to the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) and reiterated his willingness to coordinate efforts for the integration of the region.

“SELA and CAN share the vision and criteria of working for the development of our countries, promoting actions that have an impact on improving the quality of life of all our citizens. Therefore, it is an appropriate moment to welcome the work being done by SELA in the various areas of action that influence the economic life of the countries of the region in the areas of digital transformation and social and integral development," the Secretary of the Andean Community, Jorge Pedraza, said.

During his participation as observer in the XLVIII Regular Meeting of the Latin American Council of SELA, Pedraza highlighted the progress made by the CAN and stressed that they continue to work on “promoting the economic and social recovery process hand in hand with our countries to improve the quality of life of all Andean citizens”.
