The Director of the Latin American Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CELIEM), Luis Álvarez, thanked and highlighted the coordinated effort made by the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) to boost the SME ecosystem in the region.
“CELIEM considers it very relevant to have the opportunity to work jointly with SELA in developing some initiatives such as the Diploma for Public Officials with a Gender Approach aimed at designing programmes and policies that can have a positive impact on the development of ecosystems and particularly on a relevant segment such as women entrepreneurs,” explained Luis Álvarez, Director of CELIEM.
During his participation as observer in the XLVIII Regular Meeting of the Latin American Council of SELA, the Director of CELIEM reiterated his commitment to continue moving forward and building jointly with SELA the economic growth that the region needs, hand in hand with micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Latin America and the Caribbean.
