Venezuelan government received credentials of Ambassador Scarleth Romero of Honduras

The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received the credentials of the Ambassador appointed by the Republic of Honduras to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Scarleth Romero Cantarero.
Ambassador Scarleth Romero Cantarero was appointed by the Honduran President, Xiomara Castro, last October and has been a volunteer in the management of international cooperation projects for development, as well as a teacher in the area of Exact Sciences.
She was also coordinator of management and execution of community development projects, organisation of women in the defence of their human rights and the organisation of young people in the exercise of their political rights.
Until now, Scarleth Romero Cantarero worked as a presidential advisor in the National Loss Reduction Programme of the state-owned Empresa Nacional de Energía Eléctrica (ENEE).
Last January, the Venezuelan government announced the reestablishment of diplomatic relations with Honduras, which had been broken since 2019.
