SELA opens call for applications for Social Development Analyst

The Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) has opened a call for applications for the position of Analyst of Social Development, who is expected to contribute to the promotion of sustainable development, mitigate disaster risk and climate change and foster a comprehensive vision of human mobility through the design and implementation of public policies in the Member States of the organisation.
Applications are open for local staff and can be submitted from Wednesday 08 to Tuesday 21 June this year. The evaluation of applications and selection of candidates will be carried out from 22 to 24 June, and the elected candidate will be notified on 27 June and is scheduled to take office on 1 July 2022 at the headquarters of SELA, located in Caracas.
Applicants for the post of Social Development Analyst must have a degree in Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Social Work, International Relations or a career oriented to Social Science, preferably with a specialization or a master's degree in Economics, Social Science, Development Studies or Public Policies.
In addition, the candidate must have at least 3 years of professional experience in international organisations; intermediate/advanced level of English and any other language of SELA member countries; as well as management and application of project monitoring and follow-up methodologies.
This position requires skills to lead and manage projects, manage budgets, generate reports, monitor and evaluate results. It is also required to have updated knowledge and experience in management, design, analysis and evaluation of public policies and international best practices.
