University students or graduates from different schools and faculties of Latin American and Caribbean countries can apply for internships at the Permanent Secretariat of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) in Caracas, Venezuela.
The SELApasantes programme aims to consolidate the training of professionals, strengthen the links of new generations with the organization and promote the fulfilment of the objectives of the integration process.
The training experience will benefit students of the following university degrees: Integrated Communications or Corporate Communications, Production, Audiovisual Journalism, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Systems, Programming, Archiving and Document Management, Law, International Relations, Political Science, Economy or similar specialisations from legally recognised national or foreign universities.
Internships will last three months. To apply for the programme, CVs and documents supporting the studies undertaken and a letter of motivation must be sent through the following application form: http://www.sela.org/es/prensa/selapasantes/. Only those who have been selected will be contacted.
The training will be held in different areas of the organisation and will be linked to the topics of the Work Programme. In the face-to-face modality, internships will take place at SELA's headquarters, from Monday to Friday. The same schedule applies to distance or virtual internships.
The Permanent Secretariat will deliver the corresponding training certificates to those who have satisfactorily completed the internship period. In addition, the intern's curriculum vitae will be filed in the institution's database and may be taken into consideration in case a vacancy arises.
