Santiago, March 7- The presidents of Chile, Brazil and Uruguay will participate in a high-level debate on the development of Latin America and the Caribbean at the headquarters for the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago, Chile, next Wednesday, March 12.
Chilean President Michelle Bachelet, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff and Uruguayan President José Mujica will be received at ECLAC by Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of this regional organization of the United Nations, who will welcome them in the name of the institution.
The meeting will begin at 3:00 p.m., when the authorities will address the challenges the region must face to move towards a more egalitarian and sustainable development.
National authorities from different countries and diplomats accredited in Chile will attend the meeting.
