SELApasantes

The objective of SELApasantes is to consolidate the training of professionals, strengthen the linkage of new generations with the organisation and promote the fulfilment of the objectives of the integration process.

SELApasantes is open to university students in their last semester, graduates, technicians and professionals in the following areas: Social Communication, Journalism, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming, Archivists and Document Management, Law, International Relations, Political Sciences, Economists or related fields, from national or foreign legally recognised universities.

Internships will last three months. In order to apply for the programme, applicants must submit their curriculum vitae and documents supporting their studies and a letter of motivation, which should be sent to the following e-mail address: sela_pasantias@sela.org. Only those who have been selected will be contacted.


Requirements and conditions to apply for the Internship Programme:

  • Being a national of a SELA Member State.
  • In order to participate in this internship programme, applicants must submit their curricula vitae and documents supporting their studies, as well as a letter of motivation, through the application form published herein.
  • The internships will be developed in the different areas of the Permanent Secretariat in accordance with the functional organisational structure and linked to the different topics of the Work Programme.
  • On-site internships will take place at the headquarters of SELA, in Caracas (Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela), from Monday to Friday.  Similarly, distance or virtual internships will be held on the days indicated herein.
  • The intern must respect the confidential nature of all the information he/she handles or becomes aware of during his/her internship at SELA and may not publish any report or document based on the information he/she has obtained.
  • Interns will not receive any financial subsidy or health insurance. However, in the case of on-site internships in Caracas (Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela), they will receive a monthly allowance in accordance with internal regulations.
  • The Permanent Secretariat shall issue the corresponding certificates of competence training to the interns who have satisfactorily completed the internship period. The intern’s curriculum vitae will be kept on file in the institution’s database and may be taken into consideration in the event of a vacancy.
