Within the framework of its Anniversary Week, the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) is organising a Cultural and Commercial Exhibition, to be held on Friday, 20 October, at the Casona Aquiles Nazoa in Caracas. The objective of this activity is to promote integration and the cultural and commercial exchange among the countries of the Latin American and Caribbean region.
The Cultural-Commercial Exhibition of Latin America and the Caribbean will be attended by the Diplomatic Corps present in the country and will be a meeting place for commercial and cultural dialogue among the Member States, as well as public and private companies that will exhibit their products and services in the region.
The Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) was established on 17 October 1975 with the aim of promoting intra-regional cooperation and providing a permanent system of consultation and coordination for the adoption of common positions and strategies on economic and social matters in international bodies and forums, as well as before groups of countries, as set forth in the Panama Convention establishing the organisation.
With this event, SELA will conclude its 48th Anniversary Week, which will be celebrated with a series of activities from 16 to 20 October, including a Photographic Exhibition at its headquarters and the Forum: The role of integration in Latin America and the Caribbean, to be held at the UCV.
